How does a hot air balloon ride take place?
Booking
Book a gift voucher valid for 2 years from the options available. You can do it directly online or call us if you’re more comfortable over the phone!
Planning
Call us to schedule the flight on the date that suits you best. Hot air balloon flights require calm weather conditions, so you can choose between a sunrise or sunset. We fly all year round, but the April to October period is generally more favorable.
Confirmation
The flight can only take place if the weather is favorable. We will call you the day before to discuss the details with you and confirm the exact time and meeting point, or to select another date if the sky isn’t on our side this time.
Appointment
We will meet at the location and time confirmed. The location is chosen based on the wind direction, so that our ride allows us to see the most beautiful landscapes. The time varies depending on the time of year, to align with the sunrise or sunset.
Flight
Off we go for 3 or 4 hours of adventure! You are not just passengers, you are members of the crew. Together, we will start the cold inflation of the balloon, then we’ll begin heating it. It’s time to board and take off for a flight of over an hour, during which you can admire the region in an atmosphere perfect for awe. Then comes the time to find a landing spot and enjoy a drink in the middle of nature!
Return
All good things must come to an end! We’ll have to return to reality, and we will take you back to the original meeting point.

The hot air balloon is one of the most peaceful and romantic activities you can experience. Once in the air, you will be amazed by the silence and the endless space surrounding you. The flight level ranges from the treetops up to 3,000 feet above the ground. Our flight area is famous for its castles and beautiful estates, located about 40 minutes from Paris.
Admire the view of a very attractive part of our region, the south of Paris, all bathed in the magical light of the sunrise or sunset. Fly over the castles of Courances, Augerville, Fontainebleau, or Vaux-le-Vicomte, beautiful estates, and the Essonne valley as if you were a bird. Spot wildlife and wave to the locals below.
The service may begin with a pickup from your hotel or nearby. The exact take-off location depends on the weather conditions of the day, but all of them are worth the detour.
At the take-off site, you will be greeted by the pilot. He will give instructions and proceed with the inflation. You are invited to take photos and assist him as a crew member.
During the flight, your pilot will guide you through the landscapes, answer all your questions, and take plenty of photos of you. According to tradition, each hot air balloon flight is celebrated with a drink of friendship. After this convivial moment in nature, you will receive your aeronaut certificate.
It will then be time to bring you back to the meeting point or your hotel.

Ready for take-off ?
Where and when flying
Our flights are scheduled at sunrise and sunset, both during the week and on weekends, weather permitting, between April 1 and October 31.
The daily flight times depend on the sunrise and sunset schedule. Typically, departures from the meeting point are:
– Sunrise flights depart between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM.
– Sunset flights depart between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Each flight lasts approximately 1 hour, and you will spend between 3 to 4 hours with us.
How to dress
The temperature in the air is roughly the same as on the ground. It may be cooler before a sunrise flight or after landing at sunset.
Adapt your clothing to the day’s weather conditions.
As a minimum, you should wear: sturdy shoes (no slippers or high heels), long pants, a light jacket or sweatshirt.
Remember to wear a hat/cap to protect yourself from the heat of the burners.
Things to know before booking
The hot air balloon ride is an outdoor activity.
Each passenger must be in good physical condition to participate. You must be able to climb in and out of the basket, or exit a field after landing. If you have recently had surgery or are concerned, feel free to consult with us.
The minimum age is 7 years old.
Children must be at least 120 cm tall and accompanied by an adult.
Pregnant women are not allowed to fly unless with medical approval.

Paiement and ticket validity
Your ticket is valid for two years if you have made three appointment attempts in the first year. Otherwise, its validity is only one year. The ticket can be extended under certain conditions.
